Welcome back from March Break!!

-Introduction to Cartesian Coordinate System
-Practiced ordered pairs in class by playing Battleship

Geography
-Analyzed photos taken from the book "What the World Eats".  Photos were taken of families around the world, showing what the family eats in one week.
-Students were asked to note what they noticed about each picture, and any questions they had.  This was followed by a class discussion.

Language
-Procedural writing was handed back, with comments.  We will work on good copies tomorrow.
-Re-read the Third Gift.  Finish questions #1 - 3 for tomorrow.

This morning all the grade 8s attended an assembley to talk about a trip to the Ecology Centre that will be in June. Information letters went home today.
