Science: homework #6,7 and 11 due Tuesday. We had a science test today

Language: The Third Gift pick 1 question due Monday

Math: page 405-406 #1-4

We got a permission form today and it has to be back by Wednesday.

Tuesday, March 20th

Language
-Worked on Procedural Writing.  Good copy is due on Friday.
-The Third Gift, Elements of a Short Story.  Answer #4 or #6.  To be collected in class on Thursday.

Geography
-Received textbooks
-Complete definition matching, and #1 - 3.

Math
-Practiced Cartesian Coordinate system.  Finished in class.

Monday, March 19th

Welcome back from March Break!!

Math
-Introduction to Cartesian Coordinate System
-Practiced ordered pairs in class by playing Battleship

Geography
-Analyzed photos taken from the book "What the World Eats".  Photos were taken of families around the world, showing what the family eats in one week.
-Students were asked to note what they noticed about each picture, and any questions they had.  This was followed by a class discussion.

Language
-Procedural writing was handed back, with comments.  We will work on good copies tomorrow.
-Re-read the Third Gift.  Finish questions #1 - 3 for tomorrow.
